Michael Anglin

BA, BS, MS, JD, GDLP

Michael Anglin is a solicitor practicing in Queensland. Before opening his own practice, Michael worked as a solicitor for the New South Wales and Commonwealth Governments. In 2011, Michael was recruited by Salvos Legal to open a new humanitarian practice in Queensland to primarily assist victims of the 2011 floods with their insurance claims.

Interestingly enough, potential clients attended the practice seeking assistance in other areas of law: family, criminal, child protection and housing. It is from this humble beginning that the practice grew to the size where, each week, there were on average over 200 people seeking advice and representation.

In 2020, almost nine years in his role as partner for the firm, and following the closure of the practice due to COVID-19, Michael launched Anglin Lawyers. Michael is passionate about assisting those persons who might be overlooked by the legal system for a variety of reason.  Michael is a strong and ardent advocate for his clients and continues to make a difference in the lives of those who seek his legal assistance.
